Daelyn's Manuscript

Thank you for checking out my website! This is a Neocities site. I wanted something customizable that I felt comfortable with. It's a great opportunity to show my work, but also to learn some coding.

A warning: This site is a work in progress. I am just starting out. ...Right now one or more links likely don't work. Thank you for your patience.

I'm working on a book, which at the moment is titled Insensitive Synergy, an attempt at literary fiction. This book very much follows a muse, and it wanted to be written, so, as it's become a good friend of mine, I began to write it, starting in 2018 or 2019, having conceptualized the characters in late 2011. It's also a work in progress. I've written a lot over the past five to six years, and I've been so far spending NaNoWriMo trying to compile what I have... and adding some more as it comes.

It takes place in 2011 and follows around primarily two eleven year olds, Petunia and Pencílle, going about their lives. Petunia is a candid loudmouth who gets on people's nerves, yet despite her brash demeanor she is a gentle soul when in her element: being one with nature. She is one of The Flower Girls, or The Flower Girls' Club, a clique consisting of herself and her friends Violet and Daisy, while they share gardening, tea, and generally hang out. Pencílle is trying to write but is having trouble finding inspiration; meanwhile, she's battling depression, a toxic home life, and personal issues of isolation, and her own anger. ...Anyway, that's the best I could put it.

I've decided to post my manuscript of unfinished chapters here, at least for the time being. It'll motivate me to keep writing and plus start to get some of my work out there. I am considering Wattpad, but I'll definitely start posting Insensitive Synergy here.
